Ogyris commenced operations in 1995 with one of the first jobs being a literature review of the potential for Spinifex-Mallee revegetation in the arid zone of the Murray-Mallee Region. Since 1995, we have undertaken well over 150 consultant reports for the mineral sands mining industry within southeastern Australia. We have also undertaken a number of baseline EIS and EES flora and fauna assessments as well as soil surveys of proposed and current mineral sand mines as well as mine conservation offset sites. The Principal, in partnership with Federation University Australia colleagues Dr. Simon Cook, Mr. Ashley Olsen and Mr. Greg Horrocks are regular participants and contributors to Society for Ecological Restoration conferences, with mineral sand mine publications produced and others in preparation.
